Family Tree: In the Light of the Moon a Little Egg Lay on a Leaf

These hovering, animated wire works float somewhere between abstraction and representation. The sculptures literally elevate particulars and mise-en-scene elements that often escape notice. The works' protean quality creates a fantastical sphere into which viewers can enter or onto which they can project their own discoveries and beliefs. The relationship between the wires' physical lines and their alter-ego shadows adds to the theatricality. All elements are connected, each aspect modulated by the subtle movement of the whole.
